Due to the health concerns presented by COVID-19 (corona virus) the Michiana CSO Office Committee is strongly suggesting that groups and individuals re-consider the practice of joining hands and handshakes at our local meetings.

Some locations have closed their doors to all meetings and gatherings.  This is a discretionary issue and should be based on Health Department, CDC and local information.

Please consider the following AA Traditions:

​

1. Our common welfare should come first; personal recovery depends upon AA unity.

​

4. Each group should be autonomous except in matters affecting other groups or AA as a whole.

​

Please, keep in mind the health of the other members.  If you are ill or at risk, it is advised that you stay at home and not be in large groups of people.  Remember to wash your hands and sanitize often.
